                                 Ansel Adams was born in Feb,20,1902.his Father was a business man named 

         Charles Hitchcock Adams.In 1906 the after shock of the 1906 earthquake & fire he broke his nose 

         branding him for life.He loved nature from his early years growing up near the Golden Gate Bridge.

         In later life this would give him a reason to be an activist in later life.

                              He was Known to be the true American photographer to which would be ingrained with his mother who supported him.He would take pictures and make a write up of it ,the first he would show would bein 1922 in the Sierra Club. He would continue to take picture s and soon became a spokesman for preserving nature.

He died in Montery, California in Apr,22,1984.
